LAS PREFERIDAS RED
DOCa Rioja
Las Preferidas Red is a wine that is made by selecting each year the best clusters of our favourite plots.
The varieties used are Tempranillo 90% and Garnacha Viura and Calagraño 10%, with the percentages varying according to each vintage.
It is made with whole grapes in uncovered concrete lakes, the clusters are vatted by gravity, after fermentation the grapes are traditionally crushed by foot to achieve a smoother and gentler extraction. Malolactic fermentation is also carried out in concrete, then the wine matures for 9 months in 225-liter French oak barrels of second use, to enhance its fruity character.
